Blue Cocktails

The collection of blue cocktails was brought into the world by a sky-blue romantic drink, whose first appearance in 1916 was thanks to Hugo Ensslin, a bartender at the legendary Wallick Hotel in Times Square. Though the "Aviation" and its key ingredient, crème de violette, brought blue coloring to the next level, for many years the most popular blue ingredient has been Blue Curaçao.
