    Homemade ginger syrup

    Dimitris Kiakos' recipe, good for 34 oz: using a juicer, squeeze 17 oz of juice from a ginger root (this would require about 8 oz or 5 roots of fresh ginger). Strain the juice and mix with 17 oz of sugar syrup (1:1) in a blender. Bottle and store.
