Charles Sazerac cocktail recipe

  • Place a cane sugar cube into a rocks glass
  • Soak it with 1 dash of angostura bitters and muddle
  • Pour 0.15 oz of absinthe, 2 oz of bourbon and 1 oz of aged cognac into the rocks glass
  • Add 5 dashes of peychaud's bitters
  • Place an ice cube into the glass and stir gently
  • Add 0.5 oz of still water
  • Garnish with orange zest
