Pint glass

One of the oldest shapes of glass used specifically for beer. In addition, it serves as a measurement unit – 16 oz. The American version has a smooth inverted truncated cone shape. The English version is a variation on the conical design, where the glass bulges out a couple of inches from the top. The German variety is narrow at the bottom and slightly wider at the top. Standard capacity: 10-20 oz.
