Cocktail recipe American beauty
- Fill a sling glass to the top with crushed ice
- Place 30 finely chopped and pitted cherries, a cinnamon stick and 1 oz of honey into a milk pitcher
- Simmer on low heat until consistency is even
- Turn off the heat, add 0.15 oz of amaretto liqueur, a lime leaf and stir gently
- Pour 2.5 oz of freshly made cherry syrup, 0.35 oz of lime juice and 1.5 oz of bourbon into the shaker
- Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
- Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
- Strain into the sling glass
- Top up with crushed ice
- Garnish with a lime leaf, a bilberry, a blackberry, and a Maraschino cherry
